Model-C is an interactive, workstation-based graphical tool for modelingand analysis of complex dynamic systems, including linear, nonlinear,continuous, discrete, and mixed continuous-discrete systems. Using anengineering workstation, a model of a dynamic system can be developedgraphically by building a block diagram description of the system. Afterthe model is completed, simulation time histories may be obtained as wellas linear models and trim conditions of the system.Model-C also addresses the need to employ more powerful computers forvery large simulations. Model-C will build a complete standalonesimulation of a model in full source code, including all equations, theintegration algorithm, and utility routines. This source code is designedto be freely hosted to more powerful computers. Model parameters can bechanged during the simulation by moving sliders in a tuning panel.
